Privacy policy

The short version

  • We collect what we need to make and deliver your gear: your name, email, phone, address, your design and any artwork you upload.
  • Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
  • We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our visit statistics are cookie-free.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time: info@boxingispassion.com.

If you type an email or phone number into the checkout, the “save this design” prompt or any of our forms, we save it as soon as you enter it, even if you don’t finish. We use it to follow up on your design or order. If you’d rather we didn’t, email us and we’ll delete it.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the store, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

We may also share information with professional advisers (accountants, lawyers), with a buyer if our business is sold, or with authorities when the law requires it.

Cookies, local storage and analytics

If you send a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal, we ask you to also use the opt-out above; we cannot yet honor the signal automatically for the Meta Pixel.

Where your data is stored

We are based in the United States, and our providers store and process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal data from the EU, UK or Mexico, we rely on our providers’ legal safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email info@boxingispassion.com from the address we have on file (or tell us your order number), so we can confirm it’s you. We don’t charge for this and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP address), customer records, commercial information (orders and designs), internet activity (pages viewed and actions taken, including through the Meta Pixel), approximate location (country), and, for Sponsor Network boxers, payout and tax details. We collect them from you, your device and our payment provider, for the purposes listed above, and we share them only with the providers listed above.

You have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t use sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit it. You can use an authorized agent; we’ll ask them for proof that you authorized them. We respond within 45 days.

Mexico: ARCO rights

Under Mexico’s data protection law, you can exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO), revoke your consent, and limit the use or disclosure of your data. Send your request to info@boxingispassion.com with your name, the email or phone number we have, a copy of an official ID (or proof of your representative’s authority), the right you want to exercise, and a clear description of the data involved. We’ll reply within 20 business days and, if your request is granted, carry it out within the following 15 business days.

European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within one month.

How to delete your data

Email info@boxingispassion.com with the subject “Delete my data” from the email address you used with us. We’ll delete your account, saved designs, uploaded artwork and contact details within 30 days and confirm by email. We keep only what the law requires, such as records of past orders and payments.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU and UK), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. Gear for young boxers should be ordered by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls in our database so each customer can only see their own records, private storage for uploaded artwork, and Stripe for card payments. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We’ll post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you by email or on the site.
