Metallic leather isn't naturally metallic. Instead, it's often regular leather that's been coated with a metallic finish. Protecting the metallic finish on your boxing gloves is important to maintain their aesthetics and longevity. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight for extended periods. Use a glove deodorizer or cedar shoe inserts when storing to absorb moisture and maintain shape. When putting them down or storing them, place them with the metallic side facing upwards or in a position where there's less chance of it rubbing against other surfaces. Clean them regularly to remove sweat and dirt. You may use leather conditioning once every two weeks.
